I delivered the restored Chimney Bell lampshade (replaced liner only) to my customer and took pictures of the lit shade. The fabric lampshade has a 100 watt bulb.
You can see the glow where the bulb sits. Watts too high for lampshade.
Bulb in Center of Chimney Top Lampshade
The bulb is sitting too high in the chimney. The lamp needs a taller harp on the lamp base. You can also adjust with a shade riser sold at most hardware stores.
